About Us
Gene Whitaker Trucking was founded in 1959. Gene moved from Wisconsin to Oregon to haul an abundance of big logs. Gene grew up in a logging family, but his passion was trucks and hauling the logs.
Gene started with one truck, which he drove himself. Eventually building his fleet to 48 trucks when he passed away in 2016. Gene always strived to have a well-maintained fleet with well-designed equipment.
Gene also valued the people who worked for him and considered them to be family. He said without his employees he would be nothing.
His family has continued on with his business, we continue to hold the same values and commitment to our employees and community today.
We are a family-owned and -operated business which provides a well-maintained, up-to-date fleet of trucks with outstanding personnel to handle all of our customers’ log hauling needs.
